Richard J. High
Richard J. High is Chairman of the Executive Committee of John M. Corcoran and Company and serves as the President of John M. Corcoran and Company LLC. He is responsible for managing the Company's acquisition, development, and financing and asset management efforts, and for developing its business strategy and direction. Rick was appointed as Director of Development in 1984 after working for the Company for two years as Project Director. Prior to joining John M. Corcoran and Company, Rick was the Director of the Office of Housing and Neighborhood Development for New Haven, Connecticut. Rick received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of City and Regional Planning degree from Harvard University. He is a member of the Real Estate Finance Association and a Director of the National Multi-Housing Council.
Carol MacDonald, CPM®
Executive Vice President
Carol MacDonald joined Corcoran Management Company in 1987 and has held a variety of positions, including her current post as Executive Vice President. Carol oversees the operation of the management company including asset management, standard contracts, support staff, profitability, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, information systems, reporting, training and development and real estate tax abatements. Carol's experience in the real estate industry includes facility management, rehabilitation supervision, lease negotiations maintenance and service operations. She attended Boston College School of Management and Northeastern University's School of Business Administration. Carol earned her Certified Property Manager (CPM) Designation. In 2006, she served as President of the IREM Boston Chapter. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for Caritas Communities and serves on the Advisory Board for Community Development Partnership on Cape Cod.
Kevin S. Young, CPM®
Executive Vice President
Kevin S. Young joined Corcoran Management Company in 1987 and currently serves as Executive Vice President for Corcoran Management and oversees the operation of the management company's multi-family portfolio. Kevin is responsible for all of CMC's day-to-day operations including staffing, financial performance, operating practices, capital improvement planning and customer service. He is responsible for maintaining a streamlined and efficient organization and developing and implementing property performance plans. Kevin also supports the company's development and acquisitions team with property assessments and due diligence. His industry experience includes extensive work with various types of third party owners and government agencies. Kevin is a graduate of Boston College and earned the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation.
Nathaniel Nichols, CPM® CPHM®
Nathaniel Nichols has worked at Corcoran Management Company since 1988. He is currently a Portfolio Director responsible for a diverse portfolio of 3,800 apartments and 200,000 SF of commercial space. Nat's residential portfolio consists of public, market and assisted apartments. Nat is a graduate of Kenyon College and earned his MBA at Babson College. He has his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation, a Certified Public Housing Manager (CPHM) designation, and is certified as a Tax Credit Manager.
Carol Buonopane, CPM®
Carol Buonopane has been with Corcoran Management since 1983 and has held the position of Portfolio Director since 2007. Her current portfolio consists of 3,123 apartments of multifamily housing, including family and elderly apartments and condominiums. Carol supervises the operation of 18 properties, overseeing operating budgets, meeting with investors and property owners, and monitoring rental and maintenance operations of properties. Carol earned her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation and is a graduate of Middlesex Community College, with a degree in Business Administration. She also attended Burdett College.
Nancy Gaudet, CPM® NAHP®
Nancy Gaudet joined CMC in 1990. Her portfolio includes over 20 locations totaling more than 4,000 apartment homes. She has experience managing market, affordable, family, elderly, 40b and LEED Certified properties. Nancy has worked with third party owners and institutional investors. She supervised the lease up of Corcoran's first LEED Certified apartment community and is knowledgeable about eco-friendly sustainability issues. She holds a bachelors degree from Fitchburg State and a Masters Degree from Northeastern University. She holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation as well as a National Affordable Housing Provider (NAHP) certification.
